All About Me !
Hey Fellers ! My name is JennahLeigh, I was born in a quite popular town of Virginia, you know the state right next to Washington D.C.? Born and raised, I am of Filipino and Chinese descent, mostly filipino. Life in this town was a mess, it was a great childhood, of waterparks to actually seeing the environment thats actually green, oh yeah. As a child, of course I didnt care what was going around me, only to the fact that I cared for the toys I played with as a little baby to meeting friends during the school years. I had long-time friends since I was in Pre-K ! It was crazy to think about, but life became a mess, it became rough. By the end of 6th grade year and onto, It was time to move to the West Coast. One of the hardest times is to move away from where you grew up from, from all the friends I've made and all the memories that were being shared, were only to my heart and to never forget. It had took me awhile to move past on but it became now a warm welcoming to the Fabulous Las Vegas, Nevada. The city that never sleeps, the city of gamblers and the fake grass. Life was literally like a desert. By the years I have started and finishing my education here in Vegas, It put out to a great start! I have made so many more friends and they made me feel so welcomed and I had done my best to fit in and be apart of a group for once. To be honest with you here, Life is so much better here in Vegas, I was able to focus alot more through schoolwork, easy to make friends, participating in all of these activities that were open to me, and just the world itself opened up to me to say that this is just the start of a new life.
Having to start up a new life the past 3 years that I have lived in Vegas, took some time to develop and to rearrange my positions to succeed in anything basically.
I am now a Freshman, and the high school life doors have finally opened and now it's the time to cherish, to make the greatness happen, and to win so many opportunites that are able to be built for me.
As a freshman, I decided to let high school take its course for me. I made it to a volleyball team, and since then I have absolutely loved having to be in sports and as a student athlete, I want to continue this to be apart of my High School Life. I may sound a little geeky, but Education to me is the most important. It should always put everything first before anything ! If you're wanting to get scholarships or even accepted into colleges, it all starts now for me. I am willingly wanting to succeed through the years as one of those little smarty-pants, but dont get me wrong with the sterotypes of how asians are smarter.
